- In support of the FA's campaign to improve the standards of behaviour and knowledge in Junior Football, the Wigton Moor Committee have taken a unique step to encourage all parents to register and take the online "Soccer Parent" course. It's very thought provoking and should help Wigton Moor lead the way in developing a positive football environment.

Having just got back from the F.A.'S 5-11 Yr old Age specific training workshop I thought you might want to log onto to www.thefa.com/skills.
It has lots of information and plenty of cool stuff for the kids as well.
The F.A are putting a lot of effort (and money for a change) into getting grass roots football back on track.It's my intention to pass this information onto to all coaches and managers at Wigton in the near future by either demo's(I will happily put these on)and coaches meetings(no admin or paperwork)where we can all get together and share ideas and talk about footie.
I will start putting some dates up in the not to distant future.If anyone has any ideas or questions please get in touch(my details are on the website under contact-other)I will only be too happy to help.(if I can)

Here are some photos from when Olivia (Wigton Moor U14 girls) met Hope Powell (Womens England Manager) at the graduation ceremony on Saturday when Hope received her honorary doctorate from Leeds Met.
